GENERAL USE DIRECTIONS
- Wet and tightly wring out the applicator pad.
- Apply an even coating of Scotchgard resilient floor protector to the floor.
- When coating is complete, allow time to fully dry.
- The more porous the flooring, the longer it will take for product that is soaked into the floor to fully dry.
- Wait a minimum of 15 minutes after floor is dry to the touch to move on to the next step.
- Apply a second coat of product.
- Protection of the floor is achieved at two coats. More coats may be added if desired for higher gloss. For high traffic areas such as entryways, an optional 3rd coat may be applied to provide additional protection.
- Allow coating to dry before opening to traffic.
- 24 hours should be allowed prior to burnishing.

- Dust mop with 3M Easy Trap Duster.
- Damp mop or autoscrub daily using 3H neutral cleaner and a red buffer pad.
- If disinfection is required, 23H neutral quat disinfectant may be used.
- If a peroxide cleaner is desired, 34H peroxide cleaner may be used.
- Flooring should be periodically burnished to maintain gloss using a tan burnish pad.
- 1-2 times per month for low traffic areas.
- 4-5 times per month for mid level traffic areas.
- 3-4 times per week for high traffic areas.
Flooring that has been scratched or worn may be periodically burnished with a Scotch-Brite Purple Diamond floor pad followed by a tan burnish pad.
If traffic lanes no longer respond to burnishing or if marking, discoloration, or excessive soiling is observed, Scotchgard resilient floor protector may be restored using a scrub and refresh process. This can be performed 1-2 times per year for low traffic areas, 2-3 times per year for mid level traffic areas, and 3+ times per year for high traffic areas.
- Scrub entire floor using 1-2 passes of a low speed floor machine or autoscrubber and a Scotch-Brite purple diamond floor pad.
- Optionally, burnish using a tan burnish pad.
- Apply a single coat of Scotchgard resilient floor protector.
- Allow coating to dry before opening to traffic.
- 24 hours should be allowed prior to burnishing.
